Child
How can I face the world
When monsters roam 'round?
This world is so blurry,
And I'm making no sound.
These monsters are huge
Much greater than I
But as I stand scared
They comfort with lies
They gave me no wisdom
Just tasteless advice
To a child like me
Who tries to be nice
Nobody is there
When I fall on the ground
They yell and they scream
You're making a sound!
It's hard to fit in
When this world is unclear
These monsters are strong
And they sense my big fears
So I live in this world
Scared and alone
And I'm just a child
Who is on her own
