Breaking Point

High on life, feel so joyous

No more strife, lovely world so glorious

Darkness descends, enveloping joy

Unable to mend, this overlapping ploy

A fake shell of dissembling, living a lie

Shell cracking and trembling, releasing a sigh

Lies come crashing down, truth appears

At first with a frown, then come the tears

At last a light shines, bright in the dark

No longer any kinds, of harsh remarks

As those around, realize their mistakes

No matter who it may be, everyone breaks…
