But where the credits upload

 

After the entertainment ends

 

Everybody wants to go home

Being an actress is my career

 

Faking a smile on camera

 

When all I'm hiding is fear

 

 

I hear the applause from the crowd

 

I bow down with my arm across my back

 

And saw a glimpse of the director give me a frown

 

 

After the audience left

 

The director stops me

 

And ask me if i have any secrets that I kept

 

 

I shake my head no
 

But he doesn't believe me

 

“Don’t treat me like I'm a joke”

 

 

He grabs my wrist

 

And gives me a disappointed look

 

When he seen my slits

 

 

“It was my cat”

 

I say as I yank my arm away

 

“Or something like that”
