If you can, sunshine, look up at the sky.
There you'll see stars, and this all will pass by.
Our world is on fire, but just hold on tight.
I'll sing to you, sugar. Our last lullaby.
Good night my little wee oneIt's time to close your eyesIf you'll but wait till morningYou'll get a big surpriseThe sun will smile and greet youIn ever changing skiesFor mom and daddy love you
It’s something so dark,
Enchanting and hard to remark
From the beginning to the end,
Not even the brightest of humans will comprehend.
It’s something so dark,
Sung with the dullest spark
Her lullaby is sung by her tears just to awaken to the same Melody. Her smile is faked so she can face the world. There are no words to calm the sadness that over flows onto her face when she's alone.

Will you sing for me
Sing me a song where
The lyrics hold me tight
Will you write for me
Write me a poem that
Makes fun of my dreams

Wind, to me sing
Your lullaby,
Your comforting tone of peace.
I am not,
Could not be, alone
Amongst the presence of the breeze.
Tell me secrets,
Fear not, song,
You Are A Better Son Than Your Dad
Dear Son you were born in the afternoon
it was god’s felicity and incredible boon
lullaby your grandma began to croon
you crying face looked like glowing moon
Happiness is a newborn child
Written in the softest pastels
Ever stitched by crippled hands.
You try your hardest to hold it,
Not to upset it,
Simply obey and soothe it.

In the moments of doubt and uncertainty leapt off your tongue and spilled over into the thin air resulting in the warmest embraces and the wisest words exchanged allowing you to fall gently asleep in your darling fairy room lying your little head
Don't look now, child
The world has gone to war
They don't care that you're just a child
To them, you're one soldier more.

Those aren't gunshots you hear now
Those aren't dying screams
Moon, Moon gleam so bright
I wish to sleep by your light.
Moon, Moon in the night
I know it’s going to be alright.
Before I get as cold as stone,Before I finally die,Before I rest my weary bones,Please sing a lullaby.I've never heard one before;I don't know how they go,But 'fore I leave forevermore
Close your eyes, my dear.
Let the breeze from the window tickle across your cheeks
and flutter your eyes till you fall asleep.
The day has been long,
you have been strong,
wrestling through the weeds,
Quel night, those timber windy woods and plains of shushing grasses
The sky is very still while the earth slowly passes.
Nothing stirs, no bird nor bear, across the country’s dim
Blessing of mine,
Don't whimper and whine
For the Sun has given you eyes.
And with those pupils,
His heartbeat is my lullaby
His smooth chest is my pillow
His arms are the sheets that comfort me when I need comforting
The sheets that caresses my face and dries my tears when needed
Whatever misalignments had knocked the earth off its axis
twisted and turned and morphed
until time stopped
and it was me and you
underneath the galaxies.

Little babe, it's time for bed.
I've made a place to rest your head.
Little child, go to sleep.
It's there you'll find all your dreams.
There's a place beyond your eyes,
