bottle of liquor
swing, swing
one simple thing
one simple choice
"Goodnight babe
I know it's late
I'm sorry I've been busy.
We'll talk in the morning"
As you embark on your journey,
To that world so far beyond,
I think of you with sadness
The girl too young.
Your smile is glued to my mind
When you would shout as you sang.
Why did you go so soon?
I swear I was going to listen
To the advice that you made sure I heard.
But my friends have influence on me
And I didn’t want to be the nerd!
