I was dead on this day last year
Numerous cuts, tubes all over the body
The tongue was sticking out to the throat.
My mother was crying, children were shocked
There comes a time for self-reflection
When we view our life without affection
As we peer deep into our souls
We see a darkness as it unfolds
Then we look at life and can’t help but brood
Dear Little Kaylee,
If only you knew what your future holds,
Your accomplishments, your heartbreaks,
Your best and worst moments.
You will encounter hardships,
But they will shape your character
He started out young, strong, and invincible.
Never wanting to stop until he reached perfection.
The climb to success wasn't easy, but when he finally got there he still felt something missing.
What compliments do for confidence.
Sort of like sun ays to a sunflower
absorbing all it can get,
never mind the previous dark pitch.
What if reality is a fallacy,
Perpetuated by affliction?
Disillusionment just a deterrent
For positive transition?
When all is lost, picking up
He wipes the dust of his Bible in times of need.
Eats the bread cause he's hungry.
Hungry because he plants the seed so God can see he still believes.
He confesses he's sorry he's never seen

I wake up to a new days come, it's time to start bringing income. I'm no longer a carefree teen, it's time to become well aware to the world at seen. This world is based on money, sad but true, been knowing that since by the age of 2.
I am not who I should be,
The way I put the me in mean,
Hurting those who on me lean,
Lord you must help me.
Being this way, a jerk
To those who look to me,
Lord please set me free,
Don’t all people hide behind curtains?Ones that appear physical, invisible,Some even palpable.
Where are you when the children call?
Memories revive at fixed scents.
The way your hair swept in the wind.
Your hands, delicate and soft objects.
Tell me, how are you nowadays?
