Love isn't something that can be explained
but felt.
Love isn't something to take for granted
but to cherish.
Love is putting someone else's pain and suffering before your own
with no hesitation.
How come they don’t see it.
The way I do, not the legs walking moving,
The body slinking, shaking,
The lips red as wine, parting, moving in time to the words….
I speak with the intention to breathe a new life
But the stale air is all that you swallow
My words are a poison to self-induced ignorance
Your mind is full and yet utterly hollow
Female,
Is not synonymous,
With quiet.
I came into this world kicking and screaming,
and I don't plan on stopping,
anytime soon.
Because female,
Sally Susan Smith learned a new word today
Puberty
She sprouts long legs
And starts shaping into curves
That slope like desert dunes in summer
Sand grains slip, glisten, and shake
it is saying somethingwhen i feel worthlesssimply becausei have never beenkissed and havenever been adoredby a boy because thatis all I was made forright?
Feminazi
I hate that word! Don't you dare put me down.
I want my rights! I want recognition! Don't make me look a clown.
I'm not a nazi. I am a woman; a feminist at that
To stand quietly behind a Man
Was all that We could do.
Never think, no, never speak;
Be a lady through and through.
Have dinner ready every night
For a Man who shows no thanks.
