I miss you
shy, always smiling and generous
full of love and eagerness to learn
You
dating wasn't allowed, no kids
rules to follow and break
I miss you
no bills or rent
heartbreak
don’t let the good times
cover the bad
soak in those moments
but never feel sad
to have felt such joy
is a blessing alone
let go of that boy
put down that phone
Teach me, love.
Anger envelops me, I never resist it.
This type of behavior will lead me to felonies.
Please stain my memories. Teach me forgiveness.

"It brings me joy to see the sun rise
As it warms over the world
It touches my heart to see a stranger
Bring a stray in from the cold
Because small acts of kindness
Will be big someday
Find yourself a simple peace,
Calm your raging inner sea.
Rain still falls deep in your heart,
Let the drops wash away the lingering hurt.
Let it all go before the rain turns to flood,
Maybe He needs to stop.
Maybe He needs to forget that he's not always the only person on top
Maybe he needs to hold off of these shots cuz he knows it wouldn't hit the spot
Maybe he should give himself some little props
Flawless blue drifts,
Ribbons of white dance above,
Causing pleasant rifts,
With wings like a dove,
Today is perfect.
