Oh, how I admire the flower larkspur
Anytime I sit on the greeny meadows in despair !
Larkspur, a beautiful, lovely fragrant flower thou art with other flowers I compare.

I've now melted into a desire i can only call mine
While your eyes set ablaze with a flame that will surely transcend time
Open the rarified book and step into the fantasy of phrase.
Here I have learned the touch of a thousand, thousand apples,
The twists and turns of eloquent power to show the toil and trouble of kings,

I stopped and stared afar, wondering which path I should take
Poetry. A simple word, but in reality it's anything but simple. Poetry is more than what meets the eye. It stands out amongst other forms of literature. It allows you to paint a picture in someone's mind, showing them how you feel.
I had never given much of a thought to poetry.
The kids on the street only hear their own beat.
