"Nature's first green is gold, Her hardest hue to hold..." (Nothing Gold Can Stay, Robert Frost). The words coming out of the TV screen, as PonyBoy recites them so meaningfully. I saw it as just another boring movie in class, but the poem from The Outsiders did last. I learned every single word from Mr. Robert Frost, and not a single word has yet to be lost. This poem from the seventh grade, has been with me in my "older" age ;). This scholarship will help me I pray, "because nothing gold can stay".(Nothing Gold Can Stay, Robert Frost).
