Controversial talks aren’t always what they seem
Getting to talk about Donald Trump?
Oh, what a joy!
What a dream.
But somehow I’ve began to wonder,
I’ve seen the tables turn,
Politics & Religion
Were never meant for polite society
My parents taught me.
But polite society doesn't exist
At least in this day and age.
Now and again vulgarities show
Marring perfect plans
Oh, the want for greatness is an earnest desire,
It’s your life, after all.
Passionate people in a divided nation,
Of course they don’t want it to fall!
Voice your views! Denounce the enemy!
Have you heard, have you heard,
Of this feather-shedding bird,
The eagle, our freedom, our country, our cause?
It’s sick, it is, sick as a dog,
With dried up eyes and ears and tongues for laws.
The power of the people
And money's cruel sword
Cuts in like a needle
As corrupt politicians fight to become our lords
With a party split
It burns itself apart
As leaders of green wit
