It took me a long time to realize that no matter what you do, you can not please everyone,

And that you will only drive yourself crazy trying to accomplish this because it is a task that will never be done.

Whether we like it or not, we will not always be everyone's cup of tea,

And that some people will look for the good in you, while some people will make sure that the bad is all they are capable to see.

whether we like or not, you could be the best person on the planet, yet still not wanted by the one that you desire,

And that trying too hard to become the ideal person for that individual is an event that will eventuall cause you to tire.

At tne end of the day, as much as we want certain things to happen, they are not always meant to be,

But that doesn't mean that you have to change who you are so the other person can start to see. 

At the end of the day, we are who we are, and there is only so much that we can change,

And changing who you are completely in order to please someone else is an event that will only leave you feeling unwanted and strange.

As hard as it may be, we need to accept the fact that as hard as we try, things don't always go according to plan,

And that you wouldn't have to change who you are, if it was truly the right man.

No matter how much we try, there are some people who will always want something that you don't own,

And no matter what, there is nothing that we can do to try and change their tone,

I have always been a firm believer in working for what you want, but there is only so much that you can do,

and even though i never wanted to believe it, deep down, this was something that I always knew.

As much as it pains me, I know that I need to move on and let it go,

Because this is the only way that you can live your life, and allow yourself to grow.
