The Walls

She went to the park today, like she does everyday

Her hair is in pigtails, her hair is finally long enough for them

She asked to go to the zoo later, she loves those animals

Her smile can light up any room

She came home looking stressed today, I wonder what happend?

Her park days seem to be over

She stopped asking to go to the zoo

Her smile has dimmed

She never looks happy anymore, I wish I could do something to help

Her days are spent in her room alone

She stays up late, and sleeps in as long as she can

Her eyes have dulled

She is planning something

Her days are spent on her computer

She is moving out

Her eyes have become focused

She is moving out today

Her things are all packed up

She looks...happy

Her smile is back, her eyes have become alive again

I will miss her

I watched her grow up all these years

I think she'll be happy now

I think she'll be okay...better than okay

Goodbye
