Until You've Been in my Shoes

Hushed voices.
Everyone turns.
My name still in the air.
Spread rumor.
Everyone believes.

Ignore them.
Walk to my seat.
Throw myself down.
Head on desk.
Let it all out.

Memories of what I miss.
Recollection of my mistakes.
Fake smiles.
Forced laughs.

No one understands.

Do you hear the screams inside my head?
Do you taste the tears down my face?
Do you see the blood slowly dripping?
Do you feel the pain inside my heart?

Then don't judge me
