The Trickster Sage

Tue, 10/01/2019 - 13:26 -- ferral

Resonant foxes in lush of green

The Prometheus espedition consumes

Cupid hovers spectacularly spectating

The caverns secretly securing alienation

Awaaiting a utopia derived by that familiar

Paradoxical intertwined yet broken frame

The trickster sage caught between worlds

On the brink of the miraculous or damning

There is no light without dark

Nor life free from death

Fearing the unknown

Clinging to belief

Only empowered the nightmare

Light that blinds, commanding submission

Replaced by the glow of love unorthodox

Doors opened, gates obsolete

Angels need not be demonized

The reaper mustn't ride in the night

Overcoming the inevitable a fantasy

Acceptance of the flame fleeting

Allowing the sun to rise on a new day

Every soul must sleep
