Sticks and Stones

People do not think always when they speak

Some words can change us and set us apart

We have heard it before, fat, fool, fag, freak

These words are like sharp daggers through the heart

Everybody thinks they know the true story

But closed doors hide all the pain and the scars

My life feels worthless, not so full of glory

Trapped in steel cage, behind the metal bars

I can think of one way out of this mess

The pain is too much, just take it and try

Should have been fine if I’d taken one less

But now it’s too late, thanks for the good cry

Was it worth the cruel words you forced my way?

I am gone for good Jerks, what should you say?
