Here I stand with a poster board in hand.
I look at you as you try to avoid me.
In your A/C, as you turn the radio up.
I'm struggling.
I am dying on my knees, when I want to stand on my feet.
My dog stays by me. He loves me that much to struggle beside me.
My kids are waiting under the bridge, while i can get a miracle.
It is hard to keep a strong faith, but I know I am alive today.
Regardless, here I stand with my children and pet , lesson in hand.
It is hard to kick poverty out of your head when you gain riches.
However, it is easy to kick poverty out of your head when you live in riches.
