I thought of you - again - today.
Your song and music to which I would sway
Playing softly from this machine of mine.
I wonder if you will ever grow some spine.

To tell her what happened so many years ago
Would rock the ship you care to row
And I continue on the journey across lands
Searching for a pair of guitar playing hands.

Much like you is someone I meet.
I see your face on every street.
The memories flashing everywhere
that is the story not known by your heir.

Silently I sit in a room
That is empty - much like a tomb.
Once was filled with music and us
Now it has all turned to dust.

The old wind from the North came down
And sent you sailing to another town.
From me you went with everything we knew.
And I get to sit here, staring at soft shades of blue.
