See Me in Your Shoes
simply suffer in silence
as solitude seeks me out
my mind is full of violence
but against these thoughts i shout
falling deep in day dreams
i find the pain there doesn't count
your fine,
but you haven't seen the scars
they're just beneath the skin,
maybe if i dig deep enough you'll see them
but you never do
you never see the clues
so i try to stand in your shoes
don't worry, even i don't see me in your shoes
This poem is about:
Me
My family
My country
