Razor story

stared at her
The girl I loved
And she stared back
As tears glistened
In her deep brown
Glossy eyes
She took my hand
With hers
She took my hand
With her cold, firm grasp
And her lips quivered
Ever so slightly
She looked to the floor
And whispered something to me
She whispered something to me
With her deep brown
Glossy eyes
To the floor
She told me,
"This needs to happen"
I didn't know what she was talking about
She looked toward the stair case
The carpeted, steep state case
She looked toward the stair case
Then back at me
With her deep brown
Glossy eyes
And I followed her
As she stepped
I put my feet down
When she picked hers up
The whole way up the
Carpeted, steep staircase
And we entered her room.
And we entered her room
With light violet walls
With a rug in the center
That resembled flowers
And we entered her room
And we stood at her closet door
For seconds
Seconds that felt like days
And we stood at her closet door
And she stared at her closet door
And I stared into
Her deep brown
Glossy eyes
She took a deep breath
And closed her eyes tight
She closed her deep brown
Glossy eyes
Tight
And twisted the brass door knob
 With the slightest hesitant quiver
In her fingers
And she opened her door
To her closet
And walked into her closet
Onto the carpet
On which drops of faded brown
Littered every square inch
She reached under a dresser
She pulled out a bag
A white, leather bag
Browning and cracking with age
She pulled out a bag
And unzipped a tiny pocket
And removed a silver object
That glinted in the light of the moon
She removed a silver object
A thin, silver object
On which parts that were silver
Had been stained
red
She collapsed on the floor
And bowed her head
And my trembling body
Sat too
And she bowed her head
And a tear fell
As she mouthed the words
Never again
Her wrists up
Her bracelets out of the way
Her scars in the open
For the first time since their birth
She mouthed the words
Never again
And I understood
We sat for more seconds
But these felt like years
And I listened to her breath
Her slight sobs
All whispers
But suddenly she stopped
And her back tensed
And she lifted her head
And she took my hand
With hers
She took my hand
With her cold, firm grasp
She opened the door
And we walked out of her closet
Off of the floor
On which drops of faded brown
Littered every square inch
And we left her room
With  light violet walls
With a rug in the center
That resembled flowers
And we stepped down the stair case
The carpeted, steep stair case
And we entered the kitchen
In front of the cabinet
We had started
She opened her free hand
And removed the silver object
That glinted in the light of the moon
She removed the silver object
The thin, silver object
On which parts that were silver
Had been stained
red
She opened the cabinet
And she pulled out a trash can
She dug through the rubbish
And stuffed the red-stained silver object
Into the cavern she had created
She covered it
Replaced the trash can
And she stared at me
With her deep brown
Glossy eyes
She said
She will change
She said
It was time
She said
She was done
She said
Never again
I was shivering
And cold tears slid down my face
I hugged her so tight
I said I was proud
I said she was strong
She was so strong
And she was so brave
And as we stood there holding each other
I held my wrist up
Behind her face
I held my wrist up
I want to change
