Raindrops

Location

Can you take the raindrops from my brain?

They blurred my vision and the path to admission.

Can you take the raindrops from my brain?

They hurt my ambitions on completing the mission.

A perfect storm that has formed before

Being caught outside, the storm becomes a war

We fight with good intentions and use every single lesson

A conscious upward battle and avoiding the downward spiral

The storm head in my head, it came to an end

And all my worries are now just silly stories

I’ve always believed in second chances

But on the other hand, sometimes the rain man dances

They who know him, they fear him

They despise his spies in this world that he invaded

The headlights guide my way, and give me strength to say

I know my own way and you’re not welcome to stay

Rain, Rain, go away, come again another day

A fairy tale at best, except this time we are allowed to rest

The sky will begin to dry; the wind begins to dwindle

The headlights through my window say

I’m glad you heard me. I’m glad you believed me.

Can you take the raindrops from my brain?

They blurred my vision and the path to admission.

Can you take the raindrops from my brain?

They hurt my ambitions on completing the mission
