Pandemic

It was once like Ebola

A fear of instant death

It changed our lives forever

The thought of it makes us shiver

Some still fear the name

Others fear the shame

We call it AIDS

Better known as the black death

Its furry is seldom defeated

Some has escaped its grip of death

Millions have surrendered to its furry

Only the grave can truly tell

The cure is within our reach

There is only one lesson we can continue to teach

With love and affection

Our teaching is constant for protection

There is a cure for sure

We no longer run from it in any way

We run towards it today!

We are taking the fight to AIDS!
