Oblivion hurts less than the Truth

One little girl staring out the window

She is alone but not lonely

She has a dove

Sometimes she shares her secrets

Sometimes she just stays silent

Days pass by

Then months

and then Years

One day the girl opens her window

and watches her dove fly out of her window

and weeps in the dark

She had a dove

Now she is lonely

And there is no one to listen to her secrets

Everyday the girl looks out her window

Waiting for her dove to come back

But it doesn't come back

She knows the dove won't be back

But she lays near her window

Staring into nothingness

Because oblivion hurts less than the truth
