Memory and I

Thinking back to the very fist existence,

There was one that cannot be forgotten:

Clad in white, adorned with thorns,

And many emotions shown on its face.

Age alike, the mind even more so.

Gender didn't matter, as it is who I have become,

My twin - both in separation and connection,

My enemy - one who could not forget the past,

My mentor - always teaching and always learning,

But most of all,

My being - that has written my history.

There were many things that could not be forgiven,

Yet there were moments needed to be cherished,

And so happy times I will treasure,

Moments of betrayal I will forgive,

Sad events I will value,

Fury and Anger I will calm,

All with Memory and I.
