The Lord of Light

Everyone has a flaw

That makes them unique

Every mistake

Wish could retake

A teacher we hate

That laughs at our fate

He father of lies

Larks at our lives

When suffer we

The pain called regret

Such moments I wish

I could rewrite

Yet they make me

Ever so tight

Guilty regret

Is lessened with time

As I strive to change

Become like Christ

The flawless one

So what makes me good?

Complete without time?

Takes away the stain?

Makes everything right?

Jesus Christ

The Lord of Light
