Letter To Future Daughter

Mon, 02/05/2018 - 12:16 -- Glomeli

To my future daughter, all I want is for you to be happy, and be a well educated women and to not follow your mothers steps. I want you to be the girl who has a voice and not scared to say what you think. I want you to see you love and value yourself and see the beauty within you. Never let a guy bring you down or fall for a guys words because in reality any guy can talk sweet to you and mean nothing to them. I do not want to see you change for a guy, if he likes you, you would not have to change for him. Never let anyone control your life! If you are in love make sure there is trust between yous. If he talks down on your name and treats you bad just leave. But I prefer you not have a boyfriend and be able to enjoy your life without dealing with someone who is not worth it. This is how you move on and leave the people in the past who are holding you back. You might think you are different compared to others but you are unique in your own way. I want you to go to a school better than what I ever went to. I want you to go to you school events and dress up for spirit week and have an actual high school year with your friends. I hope you laugh and smile a lot and be yourself. Who cares what other people think. Get good grades and work hard! Yet it is okay for you to go out and have fun with your friends. Be the smart one,  the one who knows what they are doing and watching over others and making good decisions because you care. But educate yourself and stay focus. Clean and cook and take responsibility and help around the house. I do not want to see you being lazy when there are things to do in the house. I do not want to hear you be ungrateful for what you have! Love your siblings, your mom and dad and grandparents and aunts and be proud of who you are because in the end they are gonna be the ones who are really there for you when no one else is.
