A Leader at Its Core
A stir in a crowd,
a rumble of hundreds
all together for a different reason.
they stumble and fret, moan and groan,
until that one person, decides to go up alone.
------
I stand and ponder at my peers,
wondering wistfully if there will be cheers.
In their eyes, there is boredeom and fear
from there, my determination appears.
------
I never accepted the bare minimum,
despised the term to its core.
things needed to change, and
I behested my constituents to give out a rowdy roar.
------
Looking at the state of my friends, my peers, my believers:
I learnt that the school needed a leader.
From those wearisome eyes and hopeful smiles
How I was inspired to be their leader!
