Laura
Going through the motions of endless time
There was nothing else to do but cry
She had left so suddenly
8 years of cancer eating away at her bones
She left one springy May day
Motherless and empty I sat down, shattered
Over time, the tears dried on their own
They say time will heal, true wordsout of liar's mouths
I have grew stronger and gotten bigger
My spirits raising, invincible
There is nothing I cannot do, and she would be proud.
