judgment

her pleasures in the shallows end

as the riptide guarantees

her spot in judgment.

dripping hands clench her throat

as she prays the light consumes her

before suffocation prevails.

she sinks like death

into the deep unexplored darkness

of her negligence and lies

paralyzed by the suicide

that is her guilt.
