I Hold The Keys

On top of a mountain,

We will meet-

Like chalk stains and the rinsing of knuckles.

Tonight a salamander has slayed a dragon.

Pandora's box held the fruit from the garden of eden.

Lust, and envy.

It swarmed the world and now we wager on it.

The jungle now even greater.

Lost cause.

Life on pause.

You hold the machete.

What’s taking so long?

Elemental criminal,

Ever seen a flower bloom?

Anything besides a burning skyscraper

Can prove the existence of stars.

Civil disobedience is a beautiful thing.

Unwoven corruption.

Like a dried out swamp.

Even Dante felt sorrow for them.

Lick the honey.

Do you see it now?

Sakura redemptions.

Now close your eyes.

They told you to cut your eye out.

So why haven’t you?

Why do you continue to prey?

Lust has killed safety.

Hands in hair,

Hair falling out.

Disruption from civilization.

Envy has killed socialization .

Take a stroll down the road.

And listen to the creatures beg.

A hero, they plead.

Their mouths have dried out.

Killing and forcing.

How have we come so far from survival?

Disgusting zombies and their children.

Why are we so foul?

Here we are.

Meeting.

On the Mountain.

And I am your leader.

I hold the keys.

To exterminate, to purify.

Because it is graspable.

Here, each of you, take one.
