As I Fall

Heaven-hued are my eyes,

the very ones which have been

blinded a numerous amount of times.

And the cold must try harder

to make me unfurl my fists of agony,

for I have such a mindset that I am unable to let go.

I can feel the immense heat swirling in my head,

I feel this at the tips of my fingers,

the lines that I've gotten to know so well.

The scene outside begins to burn down,

and the skyscraping towers succumb to the darkness

that I've made my best acquaintance.
