Growth, So Recognizable

Tall palm trees shimmy in the soft breeze,

Standing tall like soilders,

Guarding the colossal college walls.

Daunting yet appealing waves wash over me,

As my bold reflection stares back at me,

Through the glistening glass windows,

A startling reminder of how far i have come,

How past futile thoughts could deny this calling chapter.

Floating birds cheep sweet melodies,

Which dance gracefully through the air,

As imagination of the future dances throughout my mind.

Corridors stretch far through the busy building,

As i stride towards my future,

Ideas no longer daunting,

Growth now so recognizable.
