Good Morning

The morning is always an intimate piece of work.

When time reverses and fast forwards and twists and mingles.

There is tousling of hair and the curling of toes - and the sighs, muffled between pillows and sheets.

Although our bodies are pressed together, pressing our needs,

You are lovely lying there. Lying with your distant stares,

And that is only the beginning.
