Finding beauty in negative spaces
Can be a trying test of your sanity
But walking by, are a million faces
Every one with a sense of vanity

When tragedy strikes we always move on
Songs, they are still playing, and hearts still beat
But we all know night is not like the dawn
Sometimes difficult to stand on two feet

Now we tape the mouths and burn the flesh
If ever one stands out among the rest
It is forced to hide, camouflage, and mesh
I thank God every day for I am blessed

This is like fire, water, earth, and air
So I ask you now, is it really fair?
