Thing always seem to get hard right before the miracles occur,

And sometimes it is easier to wish for things to go back to how they once were.

And it seems like you did everything you could, and there is nothing more that you can do,

And you start to question if this was worth everything that you went through.

And it seems like you are at a crossroads, and you don't know which way to go,

But you know that if your path was easy, then you would not have room to grow.

And that everytime you try something new, the answer is always "no",

And as hard as you try, the defeat is starting to show.

But you know that you want this too bad to just give up now,

And you know that you will get there eventually, but you just don't know how.

You know that you need to keep going, so you just take it slow and put one foot in front of the other,

Because this is what you want more than anything, or else you wouldn't even bother.

You finally realized that you don't need anyone else, and you can do it on your own,

Because the past couple of times you got knocked down are the reason that you have grown.

Whether they like it or not, one way or another, you are going to succeed,

Because you believe in yourself, and that is all you need.

You realize that if you give up now, what was the point of it all,

Because you got up too many times to stay down when you fall.

And the people who kicked you when you were down are afraid because you stood back up,

Because they don't understand how you keep refilling from an empty cup.

But they don't understand that there is a fire burning inside of you,

And this is because of everything that you have been through.

They don't know what it's like to keep fighting when you feel like you don't have anymore,

But they don't know that you are fighting for so much more.

The people who give you the most motivation are the ones who want to see you fail,

And that you are going to keep improving and getting better while they stay stale.

While they stay in the same place you will continue to improve,

Because you have so much more to prove.

One day they are going to regret how they treated you,

Because, back then, they are going to wish that they only knew.

How much of a success you were determined to be,

And you are going to wish you worked half as hard as me.

Because, at the end of the day, this is for you,

And that there is nothing else that anyone can do.
