The Dirty Giant (We're Gonna Need A Bigger Sink)
We are all just specks
On the dirty, dirty hands
Of a giant we call "friend"
Unil he washes us away
Sitting stagnant in a sink
As we seep into our lies
Mouthing all the words
That we don't know how to say
Swimming through our conceit
Drowned by hands of conscience
Comforted and sheltered
By all that we pretend to know
The giant watches as we spin
Around in vapid circles
Taking pity on our lives
Pulls the plug and lets us go
This poem is about:
Me
Our world
