You gave birth to me in the month of October
while my father peeked over your shoulder.
You raised me with love and compassion always
and I desire to follow in your ways.
On a cool morning in June of 2004
God chose to up his wide doors.
While you are forever gone to us
we can never regard God with distrust.
For we are forever his to follow
even though our hearts feel so incredibly hollow.
My life's goal is to do things that make you proud
knowing you are watching me somehow.
While life is tough and times can be hard
I know you will always love me deep in your heart.
Love you Mom!
