Dear Environment

Dear Environment,

You give yourself up to any who wish to occupy

Those who swim, walk, or even fly

Yet my species has taken advantage of your generosity,

By returning it with atrocity

We've polluted your air,

Put our waste in your water

And very few care,

As the world gets hotter

We ruin ecosytems and take down forrests,

Demolishing what should be cherrished

I'm sorry for what we have done,

For the harm we cause under your sun

Maybe one day we will realize that withiout you we can't survive

And we will make efforts that allow you to thrive

Love,

A Human Who Cares
