Dark Rooms

I might be wrong in thinking
That I navigate with lithe and agility through unfamiliar dark rooms
Dark wombs
Even darker tombs sinking further down to a heated core, a hellish home
My body, at last.

As for me, I'm
Tumbling through the ether
Always with confidence in believing that I'll continue falling in and out of life's stories and affairs
The story of life on earth
I have been so many, or so I think
I think therefore I am
I have been the hunter and the hunted
I've been predators praying for victims
Been prey, praying for escape
I've been asleep for a long time and I don't doubt I'll be born asleep and blind yet again
But I do hope that I'll continue on and progress in this, the season of early awakening
God forbid I be set back by tragedy
Colored confused by trials and traumas

I might be wrong in thinking
That I navigate with lithe and agility through
unfamiliar dark rooms
Well
I might be wrong.
