Being Anorexic

Beat me down

Pull my hair

A constant frown

It's so unfair

My mind is distorted

It makes me see things that aren't really there

My body is contorted

God, I wish I didn't care

When I turn to the side

I hope to appear a bit smaller

But I must confide,

It only causes my hopes to falter

Bones start protruding

My skin stretches over them until they look like they'll break through

I've become so good at eluding

Everyone anew

It will never end

It's constant war

My mind won't bend

All it wants is more

The pounds drop like rain in April

I am losing control

This could be fatal

It's time to pay the toll

I close my eyes,

Take one last breath,

This evil guise

Has granted me death
