Beauty
Beauty
We live we love in a world scarred
A sacred palace of broken stars
Silent night skies filled by tired eyes
Chapped lips and dimming fireflies
We sat on ledges of sanity
Slipping from the frozen dreams
Liquid cocaine fills our veins
Freezing freedom from deep in space
Meadows filled by swollen lungs
It's where we live, it's where we love
A lonely rabbit by the tree
Says goodnight to buzzing bees
Under misty eyes of youth
Now tell me captain
Where'd the doe take the deer
Help me cover up the fear
Under stormy clouds of grey
just to wake another day
under sun, under love
watch me fly, fly, fly away
