Anxiety Over Student Tuition

Wed, 08/01/2018 - 03:20 -- Dan21HD

In the darkness, I feel lost and weary

I have to gasp, reach for a single breath.

The pressure grows, truly it is scary

I turn face so as to not embrace death.

The night goes on and the monster whispers

"Give in to despair, let your fears eat you"

For school approaches and like others too

The bill comes due, oh, it makes you whimper.

The deadlines close in, the balance rises

My heart rate grows, hysteria, panic

The world spins, the tears flow, it's a crisis

"Take a deep breath, you're not the titanic.

Move forward, all is not lost, from now on

Every moment goes towards your tuition."
