The American Dream

The American Dream

By Ryan G. and Joseph G.

The nation I reside in holds a dream

To live a life of wealth and to prosper

This place and this dream causes me to beam

Our dream unites us and makes us stronger

Red, White, and Blue: the colors that reside

On the big banner that waves in the sky

We will walk with each other side by side

Through good times, bad times we won’t say goodbye

The day we rejoice in freedom, July 4

Freedom our soldiers still fight for today

1776, we gained that right and henceforth

We will remain free until our doomsday

This great nation will always remain, to

Those who dreamed here, always knew, and who grew
