When I was a child

Sitting in the front seat,

Was the greatest privileage

My eyes would glow as I looked out

I'd push my seat to its very edge

Only able to peer over the dash.

Life was simple and beautiful.

Unitl I didn't have to be at the edge,

I could see the world for what it was.

The world was descructive:

My eyes glazed over at the land outside,

The world wasn't simple as before.

Chaos rushes past and nears disaster

The simple feat of a glance out of the window,

Life was once easy edging the seat of exploration.
