Homestuck

Location

All over America, there are towns

And yet no one knows them

Except the citizens themselves

And can you blame them?

(It is their right, after all, to know the town they live in)

And in these towns there are people

Not famous, not rich, not extraordinary

Just people, like everuone else

And can you blame them?

(That is their right after all, to be people)

And these people are imperfect, like everyone else

They do bad things, and good things

They're happy and sad, and angry sometimes

But can you blame them?

(It is their right after all, being people)

And every now and again, like every other place

These people come up with someone extraordinary.

Someone who's different, someone with potential

Someone who shows their differences like a badge

But can you blame the?

(It is their right, after all, to show what they got, if they got it)

And as it always goes, these different people want to leave

To be with other different people

To learn about different things

And can you blame them?

(it is their right, after all, being people with potential)

And so when these people, in these towns

Try to leave and be someone great

To leave a town where your dad is the soccer coach

And a teacher can trace your lineage back thirty, forty years

They don't get homesick, but rather Homestuck

Because circumstance leaves them here

To great to be content, to poor to do anything about it

And can you blame them?

It's only right after all

For a commoner to stay common

In a town that's just a town

In America, the land of oppurtunity

That's just right, isn't it?
