At a point in your life god is gonna be a word
No different than mustard, couch, bagel
At a point in your life god is No longer gonna be a word
No different than love mercy justice prayer
Everyone around me‘s the same
Wake up go to work eat drink sleep
Wake up go go work eat drink fuck
Go to work eat drink fuck and smoke
I grew in a neighborhood that values tradition
Man go work
14 years ago today
I was sent home from school
and told to go play.
14 years ago today
mommy cried tears
daddy couldn't wipe away
14 years ago today
As I reflect on that fateful day,
It reminds me to get on my knees and pray,
As I honor those who lost their lives,
I pray for the dads, mom's, brothers, sisters, son's, daughters and Husband and wives.
