My body
Learn more about other poetry terms
My body is mountains disguised in flesh
Fields of grain waving in the breeze
My body is plateaus and canyons
And every hill you’ve ever climbed
How can
Men control our bodies
When
They refuse to wear a condom
Or
Even knows how a tampon works
Instead of sticking them
Up your nose
Why don't you educate yourself
because
Dear people who think my body is theirs,
My body is a temple
A temple so beautiful and strong
but you choose to break in without my consent
and leave my temple broken and bruised.
My Body is an ocean
It is graceful and it is powerfulIt is strong
