He broke me, dragged me
to his dingy white van
I could not stand, bruised
and waving out of reality
for how could he do this to me
Even that night beneath the stars
I should have never said yes
before I knew it
to the car we went
strapped my seatbelt
innocence
I should have never said yes
as the car's speed inclined
he protested the drive
letting anger decide
