Counting calories day and night,
Wondering if I should take this bite.
Anxiety muddled and riddled through;
Left feeling empty and 'whatever do I do'??
It’s a funny story now:
A collection of anecdotes and funny jokes,
A reminder of the worst days of her life.
She laughs as she tells wide-eyed friends
Horror stories,
The likes of which
The heat escapes your "perfect" body.
The bruises on your tailbone green.
The hunger pains bring satisfaction.
A skeleton too early for Halloween.
