Being me, I would say was the greatest thing,
Despite these days when I'm pained,
Back then I knew I could do anything,
These days I'm just watching the rain,
Used to spend hours and hours reading,
The Creative arts,
They reach out to her
They tell her she’s not alone.
The Empty spaces,
They reach out to her
She flies in the inner city.
Surrounded by different flocks, which one is best to join?
Colorful birds flying in the sky
Why can't she be more like them?
Wings, large and wide,
There was once a girl who followed everyone.
She didn’t know how to lead her own life;
Always listening for the next instructions.
Hiding behind the leaders.
Offering advice only in her mind.
Before I leave home every day, I make sure to put a mask on. The mask of happiness, excitement, and love. Behind that mask though, there's none of the above.
Shy. Insecure, Embarrased
Unconfident
She glares at the two piece shimmery white bikini,
hanging up on the wall
It called out to her
It was beautiful.
Let your words be unchained, your thoughts unhindered. Release the power you hold within. Let every thought filling every corner of your mind out, like butterflies released into the spring air. Speak freely.
I see the puppies,
coddled and stroked-
cooed at and held.
So innocent and sweet,
as they nibble at your fingers.
I see the dogs
as they stand
by an owners side-
The light is cold. The day is dark.
The only thought I have, a spark.
The only breath I breathe, my mark.
In this ever-changing world.
The mirror is the truth, my face.
Oh, how I wish, how I wish I could be a butterfly
Soar way up high and fly so high
Clouds so cool,
touching my face so cool, so cool.
Take me away to a place
Where butterflies
Flutter by

The daedal dreamer danced around divas
Dallying with dangerous daredevils
Yet at dawn her daringness drove out depressingly
Its a dead end, she decays over the defeat
Deeply dependent on her dear Danny
